Özyeğin University Hosted Training Program on the “Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Teaching and Learning”

Özyeğin University hosted the training program “Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Teaching and Learning” from September 17–19, 2025. Supported by the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Grant Program for Scientific Training and organized in collaboration with Sabancı University and Boğaziçi University, the event brought together educators and researchers to explore how artificial intelligence can be integrated into higher education in ethical, responsible, and effective ways.

Over the course of 3 days, participants received training from leading academicians on a wide range of topics, including AI in assessment and evaluation, flipped learning, personalized educational technologies, ethics and law, and feedback systems. Sessions blended theory with hands-on practice, offering attendees a valuable opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the role and potential of artificial intelligence in higher education, as well as to share experiences with peers in the field.
