We Welcomed Our New Students and Their Families to Campus During the 2025–2026 Academic Year Orientation Days

Opening the doors to a new chapter and extending a warm welcome to the university and vibrant campus life, our 2025–2026 Orientation Days brought together new students and faculty to celebrate the beginning of an exciting journey at Özyeğin University. From September 18–20, 2025, nearly 1,200 new students and 250 family members joined us on campus to explore our dynamic community and discover all that Özyeğin University has to offer.

Organized by the Office of the Dean of Students, the Orientation Program included campus tours led by peer advisors and visits to the faculty members. Our President Prof. Barış Tan addressed students and their families, sharing the values of OzU and the unique opportunities available to our students.

This year’s Orientation Days opened with the launch of the “Year of Water,” as a testimony of our university’s commitment to sustainability and its pledge to take essential steps in water conservation. Throughout the program, students were introduced to our sustainability and water-efficiency initiatives, gaining valuable insight into the university’s ongoing projects in environmental and water management.
