Prof. H. Fatih Uğurdağ Delivered Keynote Speech at the FiCloud 2025 Conference

Prof. H. Fatih Uğurdağ, a faculty member at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Özyeğin University, delivered a keynote speech at the 12th International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud (FiCloud), held between August 11 and 13, 2025, in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Entitled “Why is RISC-V a Game Changer for the Future of IoT?” Prof. Uğurdağ’s talk examined how RISC-V, an upcoming open-source CPU architecture, is poised to challenge ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) and democratize the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape. Prof. Uğurdağ stated that by removing barriers to entry and promoting innovation, RISC-V is not only a technical evolution but also a strategic enabler for the next generation of IoT.
